A Mariana vai mesmo...

Achamos melhor iniciar um 'blog' para coloca-los a par desta iniciativa da Mariana.  Começo contando uma história:
We though it would be better to start a blog to keep you up to data with initiative of Mariana.  Let we start telling you a story:

Esta não é a primeira vez em que ela se envolve em iniciativas de trazer conforto e um pouco de alegria a crianças em hospitais.  Na primeira vez ficamos apreensivos... afinal ela era realmente uma criança também e não sabíamos como isto poderia afetá-la emocionalmente.
This is not the first time she gets involved with initiatives of bringing comfort and a bit happiness to kids in hospitals.  At the first time we were a bit concerned... she was only a child as well and we did not know how she would be emotionally affected by the experience.

Recentemente li o relato dela desta primeira experiência e de como aquelas mesmas preocupações estavam ainda sendo manifestadas pelas pessoas com quem ela conversou sobre seus planos para a Costa Rica.  Na primeira vez elas se vestiu de palhaço, pensando em 'fazer graça' para as crianças no Hospital da Baleia em Belo Horizonte.  Quando chegou lá percebeu que só isto não bastaria para entreter as crianças naquele ambiente sombrio...  Teve então a idéia de falar pra eles que uma modelo muito famosa estava ali para visitá-los, desfilar para eles.  Percebeu então um primeiro brilho nos olhos das crianças!  Saiu da sala dizendo que a modelo Mariana já estava lá fora e que iria buscá-la.  Voltou ela mesma, claro, mas desfilando e mandando beijos para as crianças.  Os sorrisos, gritos de alegria, acenos de mãos e a vibração do quarto não saiu mais da cabeça dela.
Recently we read her story about this first experience and how other people were now expressing the same type of concerns to her when she told them about her plans for Costa Rica.  On her initial experience, she dressed as a clown, planning to make some funny act to the kids at the Hospital da Baleia in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  As soon as she got there she realized that just what she planned would not be enough for the kids in that somber environment...  Out of a sudden inspiration she instead told them a very famous top mode was there to visit them, to fashion-walk for them.  She thought she saw some spark of interest in the eyes of the kids!  She left the room saying the top model Mariana was already there and she would go get her for them.  She came back as herself, of course, but making her best effort to walk as fashion models do, sending air-kisses to the kids.  The broad smiles, happiness yelling, hand waving and the god vibe created inside that room never left her mind.

Naquele momento percebeu a enorme capacidade de sonhar das crianças, que independe do ambiente onde elas estão.  A partir desta experiência, tem sempre pronta a resposta àqueles que se preocupam com ela e como esta experiência pode afetá-la:
At that moment she realized the enormous capacity a child has of creating dreams, which is independent of the environment in which they are at the moment.  After that first experience she has a ready-answer to all those that show some concerns about she getting involved in such initiates and how they can affect her:

"Claro que tenho que ir, gente: tenho sonhos a minha espera!"
"Of course I have to go: I have dreams waiting for me over there!"
